I don't speak monkey

Rented Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events to watch it for the second time. I do so like the soundtrack...perhaps I should see if the score is available. Now I'm considering dressing as Violet Baudelaire for Halloween. Should be relatively easy; of course, I've said that in the past...

Been moving in, unpacking. Kind of hard to do that when there's no bookshelves or desk, though, so much has remained in boxes. Went through all our yearbooks and had a trip down memory lane the other night. I'm very satisfied with what I decided to keep and what I decided to ditch.

Been playing God of War the past few days, for PS2. Awesome game. For the past day or so I've been doing more watching that playing, so the story can progress, but playing it is fun too - fun to rip harpies apart and such. It's like Primal Rage mixed with an RPG, but much faster-paced. The visual setting is amazing, and I approve of the score. More games should be like this.

I hope you readers are using Mozilla Firefox, cause on IE or any other browser this looks pretty lousy. I totally forgot about that issue til Mormolyke mentioned something similar on her site. Everyone should use Firefox anyway.

Something's gonna get broken!

Time for a quick update before going to see Episode III. I would be in Atlanta tonight, seeing Nine Inch Nails, but we decided not to go. The two shows in Philadelphia were awesome, but we're rather exhausted (nothing's really slowed down since Coachella), and there's much to be done in the next few days, and we're sick - I have a horrible hacking cough that kept me up intermittently all night. Philly was wonderful, but I wish I hadn't been sick, and been more energetic.

In other news, I got to go to Disney with the family, and I got a video camera. Woooo!

I'm almost twenty-two, and I was just reflecting how much more casually I've consumed alcohol in the past year. Weird. Even though I couldn't have cared less about drinking when I turned twenty-one, it just sort of magically worked its way in.

I suppose I will attempt to update more later.

I took a cute
80's movie star quiz, but it messed up the blog, so here's the low-fi version:

You scored as Lloyd Dobler. You are Lloyd Dobler. You are a cute, sensitive, smart person, who is attracted to school valedictorians.

Let's Hear It For Nine Inch Nails! Woo, They're Good!

Soooo a person I happen to know once happened to be having a conversation with Trent Reznor about politics. It was quite amusing, given the controversies on the board lately concerning the lyrics to The Hand That Feeds, but we weren't really allowed to spread it. Now that the album's out, however, it's evidently fair game. I would type the whole controversy and mess out, but I think
Mormolyke does it better.

Super Update

Happy late Birthday to Jim.

Went to Indio, California to see Nine Inch Nails and a house full o' goofballs. Every aspect of the trip was amazing. I miss the group already. And of course NIN was awesome.

New Dr. Who is silly, but I still love it. I'm literally hearing "EXTERMINATE!!" in my head.

Have finals starting 8 am tomorrow. Must away to bed.
