Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhh. Never have I been so angry at the Internet. I've been without it for over a week, due to all those worms and viruses and things. The school network should be up and running by Tuesday; in the meantime, I have to rely on the kindness of strangers. And friends. And stuff.

Freshman Orientation was extremely tiring - I would go from around 7 am to anywhere from 5-11 pm. Class has been relatively easy in comparison, though it is only the first week, and I haven't started work study or lessons yet. Well, it's been easy with the exception of my french class - it's accelerated, I and II in one semester, five days a week. Sucks, but I am liking the french.

Funny, but now that I am finally at a computer I don't have anything to say. I've been pretty happy lately; watched a lot of "I Love the 70's" and rented movies, been hanging out with everyone now that everyone's back, and I got to drop in on band practice today, which was cool. However, I am just too hungry to type now, so I shall try again when I actually have Internet access.

My life is rated R.
What is your life rated?

Well, just got done talking with Sean. Been talking to him a lot lately, what with us being comrades in the pain of training or whatever. Earlier this evening we were all having a discussion on the future; just now, he was asking me about one of my co-deMentors. I swear, with this little development added to that of my other co-deMentor, they must be getting waaaay more action than me. Orrrr arrrrrre they?... ^_^

I apparently missed a call from Michelle today due to my mentor training all day, which makes me sad. Michelle, I did get your message tonight, and I'm sorry I missed you! I have not forgotten you or anything - far from it, and I even have the microwave for you whenever.

I got my pictures from Seattle developed, and despite me being terribly unphotogenic, there are a few pics I rather liked. However, I need to learn the proper angle to hold my head at so that I always look ok, and not a grinning goofball. Some of those...yeesh. Although there was definitely no shortage in goofball pics of other people, one in particular, as well. :)

There's a cricket in my room, but I don't know where. Arrrggghhh. However, I must fall asleep to its chirping, because I must sleep, for it is late. I don't much like sleeping alone, though. :[

One last aside: though he usually stays in tune ok in live recordings, ozzy sounded like crap when doing a rendition of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame." Really. Crap. But I adore him anyway. And off I go, with my three-year-old voice singing, "Shot in the daaaaark..."

Well, I'm back and settled in Florida. The trip was AWESOME - though the Deftones concert wound up being canceled due to a pulled groin muscle, of all things, the APC concert was fabulous, and we just happened to be at the one venue that Paz dropped in on, and she even played one song on her electric violin. Hopefully, I shall get Seattle pictures developed soon; school starts in a matter of days, but of course I'm undergoing training right now...and should be in bed already, in fact...sigh.

Best potential surprise of all: I left the fridge plugged in for the month and a half I was gone, and I just now opened it to discover a gallon of nice cold water and an unopened 2-liter of Diet Dr. Pepper. Mmmmmmmm.....When I finally defrost my fridge so I can open the freezer, I got little ice cube trays that make ice shaped like playing cards - well, like hearts, clubs, etc. Yes, shopping has indeed helped my current sad feelings at my family leaving again. Plus, Thanksgiving always comes before you know it...and I signed Marie's cast finally, but of course she gets it off next week, but oh well.

I'm also in a better mood cause there's been love in the air recently. Everywhere I turn, there seems to be engagement stories, and it's making me soooo mushy. Like I once told a very happy engaged Australian chick on AIM, "YAY FOR LOVE!!!!!!"

Well, the Seattle leg of my Seattle trip has now come to an end, and we've begun to slowly make our way home. We're in Idaho tonight, for the Deftones concert tomorrow, and on the list after that is the APC concert. I'm soooooo excited. And Seattle was wonderful! I think I may have gained weight whilst there, but you can hardly blame me, what with all the fantastic food; Thai and Greek and Italian and plain old mashed potatoes and such. Everyone at the meetup was amazing, and I miss them all already. Okie, on that note, I'm off to read the stuff and maybe eventually hit zee bed.

P.S. Greg actually ate Thai food voluntarily. Some people never cease to amaze you.
